Prior to drafting any contract for goods or services, the responsible party or the decedent's survivor who is handling the funeralarrangements is entitled to receive a copy of any preneed agreement in the possession of the funeral establishment that has been signed and paid for, in full or in part, by or on behalf of the decedent. (16 CCR § 1258.4)

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are cardboard, composite materials, or wood. A direct cremation with an alternative container provided by the purchaser is $2,195. A direct cremation with a reinforced cardboard container is $2,470. A direct cremation with a hardboard alternative container is $2,550. A direct cremation with a fiberboard alternative container is $3,155. A direct cremation with a wood alternative container is $3,690. A direct cremation with a cardboard alternative container provided is $2,195.

Itemized Pricing
The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
Basic Services of Funeral Director & Staff:

Price Funeral Chapel charges each family for our expertise in assisting them with their selection of appropriate services, facilities, equipment and staff. This fee includes basic transferfrom place of passing (25 mile radius, 9am - 4pm, M-F), sheltering of remains for the first and last day under our care, notification of social security, disposing of bio-hazardous waste,office arrangement conferences, 24-hr telephone availability, placement of obituary notice at PriceFuneralChapel.com, death certificate and permit services, aftercare support program,government compliance, consultation as appropriate with clergy, accounting, and overhead. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeralarrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains and every other service package.

PRE-ARRANGED FUNERAL PLANS:
We offer families pre-arranged and pre-paid funeral plans. If you pre-arrange through us, we will have allof your documentation on file. If you have a pre-paid funeral policy purchased through another mortuary, bring your documentation, as we will want tohonor that plan. We encourage pre-payment of funeral expenses which offers the benefit of our full price guarantee, regardless of inflation. There areno fees for this service and affordable payments may be made over as many as 10 years. This provides peace of mind to not only you but to your familywho would otherwise be financially responsible. Please feel free to discuss the details with us.PAYMENT POLICY:
Payment is due prior to the date of service or disposition. We accept one, or a combination, of the following: A) payment bycash, check, or credit card; or B) assignment of insurance policy benefits to Price Funeral Chapel with a fee of $400 or 7% of assigned value, whicheveris greater.OUT OF TOWN FAMILY:
We can prepare letters for family members to use for bereavement benefits with airlines and employers.DEATH CERTIFICATES:
The County in which the death occurs produces certified copies of the death certificate. Certified copies may be neededfor Social Security, Veteran’s benefits, insurance, title changes, trusts, banking, credit cards, stocks, bonds, etc. Anticipate approximately a 14-daywaiting period before copies become available from the County. We will call the family as soon as their documents are available.VETERANS:
Please provide the military discharge paper (Form DD 214) for a veteran. This document is necessary for veteran benefits such as a flag,grave marker, military honors, interment in a national cemetery, etc. We can assist with all these details.OBITUARY:
We can assist the family in preparing a basic obituary, including a photograph, for our website or any local and out of town newspaper.Newspapers charge per line, so the length of the obituary determines their cost.VIDEOS/SLIDESHOWS:
If the family desires, Price Funeral Chapel can create a slideshow to be played as part of services. On the other hand, if thefamily desires, the family may create a slideshow themselves. Price Funeral Chapel has the capability to play any slideshow or video created from yourlaptop by plugging the laptop directly into our flat screen television via an HDMI connection.
