Paul was born on October 26, 1929 in Sacramento. He passed away peacefully on January 24th in Sacramento, at the age of 96. He was preceded in death by his wife Mona, his daughter Paula, his brothers Joe and Ben, and his sisters Vera and Lucille. Paul is survived by his wife Denali; his sister Eleanor; his daughter Tonya and her husband Jesus; his grandson Brett and his wife Laura; and his great-grandchildren Graydon and Ella.
Paul proudly served in the United States Air Force for 25 years, working as a clinical laboratory scientist. After his military service, he continued his career at Kaiser for 20 more years. He enjoyed watching baseball and football, loved reading, and was especially good at blackjack. One of his favorite roles was helping care for his grandson Brett when he was young, and the two shared many happy memories, including time spent bowling together. Paul was kind, generous, and an active member of his church for many years. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 10am at Lutheran Church of the Ascension (7607 Garden Gate Dr, Citrus Heights, CA 95621), with a viewing from 9am - 10am.
