Born on April 15, 1936, in Los Angeles, California, to Truman and Louise Partridge, Miriam's life was one marked by devotion, resilience, and quiet strength. She was raised in Southern California alongside her beloved sisters, Loyce and Paula, where she developed the foundations of faith, creativity, and determination that would guide her throughout her life. From an early age, Miriam expressed her vibrant spirit through music and movement, participating in numerous choir and dance groups. She was a deeply creative soul, blessed with many talents that she generously shared with those around her. Her love of beauty, learning, and expression enriched both her family and her community. She attended Brigham Young University, earning her bachelor's degree in teaching. At just 23 years old, she began her career in education. Her education was not only a professional achievement, but a lifelong tool she used with care and intention- especially within her home. Miriam married Ray Jacobs and together they began their family. While life brought its complexities and challenges, her devotion to her children remained the steady center of her world. She poured her knowledge, creativity, strength, and unwavering love into raising and supporting Lorraine, Bryce, Alden, and Jeff. They were her greatest joy and her proudest accomplishment. Her faith was central to who she was. Active in her church, Miriam gave generously of her time and talents in service to others. She quietly uplifted those around her, offering help, kindness, and steady encouragement wherever it was needed. Miriam's life was a testament to perseverance, creativity, and steadfast love. She will be remembered for her strength, her service, and the deep and abiding love she had for her children. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
