James Dennis Lloyd

James ‘Jim’ Dennis Lloyd, 81, of Citrus Heights, California passed away on January 26, 2026.  Born on September 2, 1944 in Moscow, Idaho, Jim was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, follower of Christ, and a beloved member of his community.

Jim served his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years before settling in the Sacramento region. Jim loved exploring the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, gold panning, meeting new people, and spending time with his family. Jim will be remembered for his generosity, storytelling, and kindness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Cleo; his brother, Bob; and his sister, Pat.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sharon; his son, Steve (Jessica); his daughter Leslie (Keith); his grandchildren Tyler (Sonia), Brandon, Matthew (Christine), Tyler (Shelby), Nathan (Michele), Ryan (Katie), Kody (Bailey), Gabrielle; and his great-granddaughter Naomi.

He will be greatly missed and forever remembered. He is in God’s loving hands.  Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 1pm - 2pm at Price Funeral Chapel (6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA 95610), with the burial following at Sierra Hills Memorial Park (5757 Greenback Ln, Sacramento, CA 95841).
